Vera is a Venezuelan cellist and composer with several years of orchestral, chamber ensemble, and choral singing experience. She has worked as a cello teacher and as a freelance musician offering recording, composition, arrangement, and sheet music transcription services for almost a decade.
She began her musical studies at the Carabobo Conservatory of Music in 2006. She later became part of the Simón Bolívar Musical Foundation (El Sistema) of maestro José Antonio Abreu in 2008 as a cello student and member of the Valencia Symphony Choir. Then she became a member of the Carabobo Youth Symphony Orchestra in 2012 and was part of it until 2020, becoming principal of the cello section in 2017.
She graduated with a degree in Art with a mention in Music at the Arturo Michelena University in 2018 and obtained first place in her class. She has worked in different musical institutions in Venezuela such as: at the Compañía Humana Foundation as a guest professor of the cello chair, at the Simón Bolívar Musical Foundation as a comprehensive academic musical teacher, and as a substitute professor of the keyboard chair at the San Diego Academy of Music in the state of Carabobo.
She is also featured on the projects of many independent international artists from many countries like the United States, Italy, Germany, Ireland, France, Australia, Canada, Austria, United Kingdom, Mexico, Switzerland, Ghana, India, Singapore, Belgium, Chile, Netherlands, Turkey, etc.
